Livio Felluga is regarded as the Patriarch of wine renaissance in Friuli.
Love for land and viticulture (flowing) in their blood, the family begins growing vines in the 19th century on the hills surrounding Isola d’Istria. In the 1930s Livio Felluga, the eldest of the fourth generation of winemakers, moves to Friuli and after the Second World War seals the bond with the hill country investing/betting on the first vineyards in Rosazzo.
In 1956 anticipating the creation of the Italian appellation system, Livio Felluga chooses the Geographical Map as label to show the world the origin of his wines and to tell their story.
The life of the winery is marked by the steady and rigorous pursuit of quality and by the absolute respect for the land, environment and consumers ever since. The heartfelt sense of responsibility guides the Livio Felluga winery towards sustainable choices, preserving a precious and irreplaceable legacy for future generations.
