The Belguardo estate was purchased by the Mazzei family in the 1990s. Since its acquisition, the estate has been managed with respect and in line with the group's production philosophy, aimed at enhancing native grape varieties as an expression of the territory's identity. Nestled on the hills between Grosseto and Montiano, near the Tyrrhenian Sea, the Belguardo estate is one of the most important wineries in the area, with a total area of 80 hectares, approximately half of which (48 hectares) is dedicated to specialized vineyards. The estate is divided into four different parcels: Belguardo, Sughera, Poggio Bronzone, and Val di Toro. Native grape varieties such as Sangiovese, Alicante, and Vermentino are cultivated, as well as international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah.
