In 1920 in Cusercoli Attilio Ravaioli, son of the last factor of the Guidi Castle, opened one of the most renowned trattorias in the Bidente Valley: the Osteria "Da Tilio." In a short time it became one of the most sought-after destinations for local Romagnoli, who were won over by the gastronomic offerings unobtainable elsewhere, such as earthenware roasts, hand-made gelato mantecato and artisanal gazzosa, and by the charming balera, located in the beautiful inner courtyard. Bathed by the banks of the Bidente River, the osteria soon also became a regular destination for the fishing-loving Bolognese, who used to fill the trunk of their sports cars with the house wine at the end of lunch. In 1929, precisely because of the high demand for the self-produced sangiovese, Attilio decided to begin work on expanding the cellar. The business continued to grow, thanks in part to the forces of the second generation: sons Antonio and Amleto. el take over the fortunes of the family business, Antonio and Amleto decide to hand over the management of the trattoria to devote themselves entirely to wine production. Into the family comes Podere Prugneto and the first productions of sangiovese from their own grapes. Enthusiastic about this novelty, the two brothers decide to expand their market by targeting the Riviera. Thus was born the F.lli Ravaioli label, under which Antonio and Amleto began bottling their wine, which until then had been sold in bulk. The positive response is immediate and leads the two brothers to experiment with making new wines. The first two Albana- and Trebbiano-based whites were born. From his father Hamlet and his uncle Antonio was meanwhile learning Valerio, the third generation Ravaioli. In the mid-1960s, it was Valerio himself who gave new impetus to the business. He strongly believes that Sangiovese di Romagna is a grape variety from which to obtain high-profile wines, so he decides to introduce two important innovations: decreasing the production of grapes per hectare and using French barriques for the first time for aging. To complete this new path, he seeks a distinctive image that can identify his Sangiovese with immediacy and make its extraordinary characteristics easily recognizable. In the 1980s the entire property was restored and additional land was purchased in the Nespoli area. The F.lli Ravaioli winery becomes "Azienda Agricola Poderi dal Nespoli." Leading it with Valerio is Fabio, Antonio's son. When harvesting for the first time at Poderi dal Nespoli, Valerio's daughter Celita is little more than a child, and her presence among the rows marks the arrival of the fourth generation. After more than 20 years of working alongside her father Valerio in the vineyard and cellar, in 2004 for the first time it was Celita who made the wine. She has watched her grandfather, father, and uncle and has participated in the grape harvests since she was a child, even giving her input in all the subsequent processing steps-that year is the right time for her to prove herself. Valerio gives her his directions and tries to correct what he sees as mistakes, but Celita goes straight for it and in 2006 brings home the most prestigious award: the 3 bicchieri from Gambero Rosso. The following year Celita makes an encore. These two events mark the passage of the winery into the hands of the fourth generation Ravaioli. Celita and Fabio are now great and, like them, so is the wine they produce. Poderi dal Nespoli wines are high quality wines, in whose spirit the dream of Alfeo Martini and that of the Ravaioli family meet: to bring great Romagna quality to international markets. When the president of the Mondodelvino group, a Romagnolo doc, met Prugneto, he recognized in this sangiovese the most noble and faithful expression of Romagna. The partnership between the Ravaioli family and the Group is tightened in late 2009. At the beginning of 2010 under the leadership of Alfeo and Marco, his son, work begins that will bring the Poderi dal Nespoli winery to the configuration of its current headquarters, consisting of the winery and its facilities, the vineyards, the Bottega del Vino and the Borgo dei Guidi farmhouse, which with its Vela in the park welcomes guests for events and ceremonies. In 2021 The company becomes part of the Argea Group, thus confirming its vocation for innovation and passion for quality wines.

AIR indicator reflects the total greenhouse gas emission directly or indirectly associated with the company activities (GHG Inventory).
Total emissions are divided into six categories: Category 1 – Direct GHG emissions; Category 2 – Indirect GHG emissions from imported energy; Category 3 – Indirect GHG emissions from transportation; Category 4 – Indirect GHG emissions from products used by organization; Category 5 – Indirect GHG emissions associated with the use of products from the organization (NS=Non Significant as outside the reporting boundaries); Category 6 – Indirect GHG emissions from other sources.
The result is graphically represented by the ring in which the colored segments represent the contribution of each Category.

The WATER indicator expresses the potential environmental impacts resulting from the use of fresh water. It takes into account the water directly consumed and polluted by the activities that the company carries out, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, during a calendar year. These impacts are evaluated by two indicators: in particular, water scarcity (Direct Water Scarcity Footprint) depends on the water drawn from water bodies, while the estimate of the qualitative degradation of water (Non-Comprehensive Direct Water Degradation Footprint) derives from processes of re-naturalization of the water bodies.

TERRITORY indicator assesses the impact of winery's activities on its surrounding area and local community. This includes: the impact on surrounding biodiversity, taking also into account initiatives carried out by the wine company to protect and preserve the environment; the social and economic impact on local workforce (both in terms of job creation and job quality); the impact on local communities that is producers and consumers. Such indicator analyses whether the winery has respected the socio-economic parameters required by the project.
